What lot sizes are used in the backtester?

When you run a backtest AFTER you connect an MT4 account to your Tradeworks profile, and your broker supports trading in the same symbol as you have selected in the backtester, then the test will be performed on the same settings as you would normally trade on.

IF you have not connected an MT4 account yet, or if your broker does not provide trading in the instrument you have chosen to run the backtest on, then you will test on Tradeworks' default setting.

Tradeworks default settings have been chosen as the most commonly used settings.

The default lot sizes used are:

Symbol: "EURUSD" - Lot size: 100000 EUR
Symbol: "USDJPY" - Lot size": 100000 USD
Symbol: "GBPUSD" - Lot size": 100000 GBP
Symbol: "EURJPY" - Lot size": 100000 EUR
Symbol: "EURGBP" - Lot size": 100000 EUR
Symbol: "AUDUSD" - Lot size": 100000 AUD
Symbol: "USDCHF" - Lot size": 100000 USD
Symbol: "USDCAD" - Lot size": 100000 USD
Symbol: "GBPJPY" - Lot size" : 100000 GBP

Symbol: "HK33HKD" - Lot size": 100 index
Symbol: "DE30EUR" - Lot size": 100 index

Again, if it is possible to find the symbol used in the backtester in your MT4 account we will backtest on your brokers setting. If not, we will default to the above.
